Ayia Napa

Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa is the number 1 beach in Europe accroding to Trip Advisor. It is a paradise with golden sand, crystal clear shallow waters and palm trees. Here you can enjoy the lively side which has music playing from the bars or the family side which is a lot more relaxing.

Ayia Napa is much much more than one of the party capitals of Europe. There are so many things to do that cater for all ages such as its beautiful harbour with so many different quality fish restaurants to choose from. The water park which is one of the largest in Europe is a must for anyone who has not been. A wide selection of shops selling everything from fridge magnets to jewelery. Hundreds of bars with all different genres of music including house, dance, trance, pop, rnb and more.

Pernera

Pernera is an up and coming resort which is the immediate neighbouring resort to Protaras. From Pernera you can walk along the beach front on the new promenade that takes you into Protaras which is about a 10 minute walk. Pernera is very popular with families and couples and is often preferred to Protaras because of the wide selection of villas it has to offer at usually much more competitive rates than Protaras.

Pernera also has some of the best restaurants in the area such as Mojito Bar & Grill, Alati, Blue Spice and many more. Although the selection is not as great as Protaras the quality is certainly much better. Pernera also has several beaches that are not as crowded as Protaras and are very clean with soft sand and shallow clear waters.

Protaras

Protaras is one of the most popular resorts in Cyprus for families and couples. As well as having the famous Fig Tree Bay Beach there is a long strip about 1 kilometre long full of shops, bars and restaurants. Protaras is also connected to the neighbouring resort of Pernera which is a 10 minute walk along the brand new sea front pathway which is also floodlit at night.

In the evening there is the Magic Dancing Water Display which is a beautiful site and a must see for those who are new to the area. Protaras Strip is often a starting point for the younger generation who are planning on partying in Ayia Napa as a place to warm up. Then go on a short ride by taxi (approx 15 Euros) or by bus which is only 1 Euro and runs every 20 minutes or so from the Protaras Strip.

If Fig Tree Bay Beach is too busy and crowded for your liking then why not try some of the more undiscovered beaches like Konnos Beach, Sunrise Beach or Cavo Maris Beach. You will still find them extremely clean and well looked after but are still offering everything from a snack to all different kinds of water-sports.
